APEX Developer

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This position will assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs, develop conversion and system implementation plans in Oracle APEX. This role will also recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

RESPONSIBILITES

Develop applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

Participate in peer-review of solution designs and related code.

Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.

Develop and consume APIs using Oracle APEX technologies.

Configure services for performance, security, and error handling• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Five (5) years of development, implementation, or maintenance of large-scale systems across multiple hardware and software platforms OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience developing APEX applications within cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, Google).

Expert level proficiency in database technologies (Mostly Oracle).

Previous experience in developing APEX application within a large enterprise with deep understanding of enterprise application integration patterns.

Exemplary oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentation.

Effective collaboration skills with ability to interface with all levels of management and staff.

Critical and practical thinking - ability to balance financial, architectural, business, and IT objectives.

Broad-based knowledge of the IT industry and trends.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Oracle APEX and PL/SQL related certifications from Oracle.
